Digging Deep to Find Truth & Walk In Freedom Mark Rebekah's Journey
Raised a Pastor's daughter is a loving and spiritually healthy home, Rebekah's plan for her life was like that of many young women - get married and start a family! As the post-college years passed with no sign of that in sight, doubt and grief began to settle in her heart.
God had a plan to be sure. Learning, leading, international missions work, all amazing gifts. But as she approached her late 20's, 30's and into her mid 30's, the doubt and anger couldn't be hidden, "This makes no sense, do you really see me, God? Aren't you responsible for this pain?"
The Year's of Waiting and Wall of Pain Were a Grace in Disguise
Rebekah met her husband, Jeff and get married when we was 39 years old. It's easier to see it now then it was then, but she knows that the years of waiting and the wall of pain that God asked her to walk through were a grace in disguise.
The lessons learned about God's love, her worth in Him, where satisfaction truly comes from (God, not a man or children), how to wrestle with hard emotions, and so much more, she now uses to encourage and empower women.
"God isn't good because He 'finally gave me a husband'. God is good because He gave me all of His love & grace along the way and He taught me how to receive it. Single or married, my soul is satisfied in nothing less."
